The Men of St. John's are hundreds of fathers and alumni who come together to serve and strengthen the community of student families at St. John's College High School in Washington, DC. 

We volunteer for the school throughout the year, working more than 500 shifts of visible and eager service to make good things happen at sports, cultural, club and other school events.

WHERE DO I START?

Begin by signing up for a free online account.  MOSJ uses the Membership Toolkit system to manage member access, including our communications, our events calendar and member personal details.  Any father of a current student can have a free account, whether you are a paid MOSJ member, or not.

Registering for a free Membership Toolkit account takes about five minutes (max).  

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

Once you have an online account, become a member.  Lifetime membership in MOSJ requires a one-time $99 fee, and takes just minutes (plus a credit card).

HOW DO I KEEP GETTING MOSJ UPDATES?

If you already have a free Membership Toolkit account, please check your "Contact Information" to ensure we have the right email and phone to keep to updated on future MOSJ events.  If your contact info is up to date, check your email spam settings to ensure MOSJ is on your "whitelist."

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME AS A MEMBER?

Many hands make light work.  We ask each Man to volunteer for at least one shift of service per year: whether that's working the concession stand at football game, greeting prospective families at Open House, assisting at Graduation, or filling hundreds of other needs throughout the year.

Fellowship grows in-person. We hope that each Man will join us for at least one meal and meeting each year, to make new friends and strengthen our community.

MOSJ grows one Man at a time. We expect each Man will invite at least one new dad to MOSJ to grow our membership.

WHO BECOMES A "MAN OF ST. JOHN'S?"

Anyone who's the father of a student, or an adult alumni themselves, can become a Man of St. John's.   

Some of our members are alumni whose own fathers and grandfathers are also alumni.  Some are dads who just moved to the area and are establishing their roots. Some had students that graduated years (or decades) ago. 

But most Men join when their sons and daughters enter the school as freshmen.  They're looking for a way to stay connected to their children throughout high school (not easy!), and to meet other dads (even harder!) with a common goal of raising responsible young men and women in the LaSallian community of St. John's College High School.

IS IT REALLY JUST A ONE-TIME FEE?

Absolutely.  We expect that every Man will work each year to help make good things happen at St. John's.  Your $99 fee pays for the famous MOSJ Red Polo, and helps cover your meals and other benefits.  Beyond that we need what money can't buy: your time and talent.
